(posted by me on behalf of my daughter)

I (daughter)  purchased the TD2000 Style Fiberglass Body Kit (Unpainted) in august 2017.

Problem 1: When it arrived, there was some damage to the box (it was completely open on the top) and some scratches on the items inside.  The shipper told me personally that I needed to accept delivery of the box and contact CarID to resolve the issues with delivery. Being only 20 years old, 5'2" and with the 6' man inside my apartment (even though I asked him not to come all the way in), I did not push the issue and instead did what he said. I contacted carID within 2 days and let them know there was some minor damage.

Problem 2: since the shipping damage seemed minor, I took the product to my local garage to have it put on my car. There I learned what Extreme Dimensions made it was of such poor quality that the garage refused to work with it. In addition, the very mildly worded popup that said you might have to make a huge list of modifications was not correctly stated. The huge modifications were REQUIRED and would make my car not legal to drive. No where on the CarID website does it say this product makes the car illegal to drive.

In other words, if I installed the part, my car WOULD NOT BE STREET LEGAL!

Problem 3: when I contacted CarID again to tell them my garage refuses to work with such a bad product, they told me the scratches and the fact that I obeyed the very large shipping man meant I could not get my money back. CarID would not stand being either product or shiping company.

Resolution - using the word sarcastically after hours on the phones

The shipping company, Con-Way Freight in Little Rock,  refused any responsibility and since I was intimidated into accepting the item and not writing anything on the receipt, I could not return the product without paying myself (over $200) to do it .

The manufacturer, Extreme Dimensions said they would pay for the sub-standard part if I paid to ship it back. Then in a conversation between Extreme Dimensions and a manager at CarID, the manufacturer said if there was any damage to the items, they would not authorize the refund. So since there were scratches from the shipping company, that would mean I needed to spend over $200 to ship the item back with no guarantee that I might be refunded the $350 product price. (So then I would be out $350 for the product, $170 for the original shipping cost, and $200+ for return shipping costs.)

As I tried to get this done right before the University closed down, CarID let me know that unless I sent the item out that day, they would not refund my money. THAT SAME DAY! They would not accept that the school is closed for 3 weeks. since the only shipper I knew was the guy who bullied me into signing his shipping papers, and shipping the item back with scratches on it means that Extreme Dimensions (which no longer answers my calls) might reject what they receive, I gave up.

In summation, CarID is selling a product that does not work as advertised. It requires thousands of dollars of modifications, would result in a horrible looking product (according to my garage), and would make my car illegal to drive/unsafe. CarID also refused to modify their presentation of the product after I let them know their representation of it is false.

Extreme Dimensions was similarly unconcerned that CarID does not state the product will make your car illegal to drive on the street and the videos on CarID show the modified cars being driven on the street (without crash bars!)

Con-Way Freight told me to file a complaint on their website, which does not have any section on it for complaints.
