Ordered furniture in April, 2002. Received a small portion of my order ONLY after involving my attorney. H.R. Privette has pocketed my remaining deposit of $6,200. Attorney General's Office told me they have received around 400 complaints and it is up to the District Attorney's Office to prosecute.
Although he was arrested in January, 2003, they told me he posted bail and was released the next day. He continues to scam people. AG's Office told me there is a VERY SLIM chance I will ever see that money. I have been told that he operates under the business names "Design Online" and "Miller Burns Furniture" as well as "Carolina Furniture" ... and who knows what else! I was given the run around and promised the same thing that everyone else has for the past year, but no luck.

May have been given the wrong info. about operating under the name "Miller Burns Furniture". I'm not sure at this point, but if you plan to order from them, I would check it out first. However, the name "Design Online" was listed on the Better Business Bureau website www.carolina.bbb.org
