DO NOT BUY from Caruso Homes. The floor plans are nice and you will have several options to choose from. That is where the positives end. The customer service was not good at all, and they seemed like they could care less. Do not expect to reach their staff right away, but do expect to wait for several days to hear back from them. This makes their first core value of “We Care Attitude” pretty laughable. They will do just the bare minimum to meet their contractual obligations. Quality of work is subpar at best. If you are not paying attention they will try to get away with whatever they can, especially not completing all the finishing touches. They are far from what you would expect from a luxury home builder. New issues continue to pop up and it is very frustrating. This is something you should not have to deal with from a new construction. Given the option, I definitely would NOT buy from them again, and I hope that no one else does. Please save yourself the headaches and go with a different option: whether that be buying from another builder, or just purchasing an older home and fixing it up to your liking. You can save a significant amount of money by doing the latter.

Since filing this report I have contacted the company and we are working toward a solution. This website will not allow me to remove my statements. It is unfortunate because I feel that Caruso will address my concerns.

Please take notice that Caruso Homes, Inc. (“Plaintiff”) has initiated an action in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County (MD), case number C-02-CV-15-002151, due to allegedly false statements made on Ripoff Report. In the Action, Plaintiff seeks to subpoena the records of Xcentric Ventures, LLC for contact information and any other messages that “John” has posted on Ripoff Report under this pseudonym, or any other pseudonym, about Plaintiff, to Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, LLP at: 301 E. Fourth Street, Suite 3500, Great American Tower, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
Plaintiff has served a subpoena on Xcentric Ventures, LLC, the company that owns and operates this website, to reveal your identity.
