These guys advertise a "free" VIN report, then when you put the VIN in, don't give any information. Then the offer a full report for $2.95.  OK, seems like a good deal. A few days later you get a charge of $29.95 on your credit card from a "Real Estate Rental" company, that is actually a monthly charge for their "service".

This is a TOTAL SCAM, do not use them... and god help you if they get your credit card number. They claim to be in "Utah", but I had no idea so many people with heavy indian accents lived in Utah? I had to cancel my credit card to get them away from me...

Well, we should have read their T&C....NO...they advertise $2.95 for 1 car report......which is what we agree to.......I have never seen this T&C, no reference to this T&C until I read this complaint.......We as consumers have to be aware......i wish i had checked rip off report on this company before I gave them my credit card info.......

you think 2.95 i dont care but you are giving them access to unlimited funds through your credit card scary.........this company is obviously cheating people...we have so many complaints.......I thought the law stated that you have to explicitly agree to the monthly charge...it cannot be hidden......

any lawyers out there want to make a class action law suit against this company....come on guys ( lawyers) this could be a good cause............

d. Fees, Refunds & Fraud
Evaluate our service for 3 days. If you are satisfied with our reports, do nothing and you will be automatically be signed up to our members only area which allows you to perform 4 (four) Car Vin History reports each month for $29.95 on your statement as 1-888-613-1485CARREPORT. Unless we indicate otherwise, all fees and charges are final, with no refunds. If you do not notify us that you want to cancel your subscription, the then-applicable monthly fee for your subscription will be billed automatically to the credit card you designated during the registration process (see "Termination, Trial", below). By purchasing our services, you agree to pay with a valid credit card and certify that you are an authorized user of the credit card. To protect our customers from credit card fraud, we may work with law enforcement agencies to address issues by sharing information such as credit card numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, etc. We reserve the right to suspend services for individuals suspected of fraudulent credit card activity. You are responsible, and must pay for, all purchases of the services made by individuals using your account. If you suspect that unauthorized use of your account is occurring, you must notify us immediately.
You agree to pay all amounts due upon our demand. In the event we have to collect unpaid amounts you owe us, you will be liable for all collection costs, including attorneys' and collection agency fees. In the event that you place a dispute with your bank for services rendered, all complaints will be reviewed and a rebuttal will be sent.
e. Subscription Services, Automatic Renewal, Trial
i. Payment
In the event you choose to subscribe to the services offered on the Site, your subscription will continue for the monthly period you select during registration (the "Term"), and renew automatically at the end of the Term, unless you notify us of your decision not to renew your subscription by contacting our Customer Care Team at (888)-613-1485 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (888)-613-1485 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.
ii. Termination, Trial

When you cancel automatic renewal on your subscription, your subscription will continue through the rest of the current period. At the end of that period, your subscription will not renew automatically, and you will lose the benefits of the subscription. You are not entitled to refunds for previous months that have already been charged as services have been rendered and costs have been incurred by us.
Please note:
Upon the expiration of your trial (if any), your credit card will be billed the applicable subscription fee and your paid subscription will commence. You will not receive a refund or reimbursement of your subscription fee after your trial period has ended.

Looks like you should have taken the time to read this before signing up.  You, effectively agreed to the continued service AND billing.
