I was like the others, I took a $5,000.00 loan and gave back $1,500.00. After I am done i will have paid them over $40,000.00 for a $3,500.00 Loan. I was having a hard time this month and asked for a deferrment and was denied, not even a change of date. They charge a $15.00 late fee. I have another loan company, no questions asked to change payment date, no late fee. and when I asked for a deferment, I was given it. Cashcall is a rip off company that should not even be allowed to operate. I want to do a class law action suit against them. If anyone knows of one pending in California, please let me know.

Cash Call

Cash Call is indeed a shady company with very high intrest rates.  However, they tell you up front what your terms will be so it's up to you if you are deparater enough to use them.

As far as a "class action law suit" forget it.  Even if someone does start one (why not you?) the only ones who get anything out of it are the lawyers.  I was in one once and in the end everyone including me got about 10 bucks.

If you think they are doing something illegal, you need to sue them yourself and not wait for someone else.
