 I contacted this company to see what I could sell my laptop for parts after the hard drive failed. They quoted me $100 knowing that it had a bad hard drive. Since the hard drive is the part that holds all personal information (account numbers, social security number, bank information, etc.) , I removed the hard drive prior to shipping it to them. They claim that the screen had severe cosmetic damage, no hard drive, no power supply, defective floppy drive, minor cosmetic damage to cover and keys. There was no damage, scratches or problems with the screen, they never said to return the power supply with it, and it had no floppy drive; however the cd/dvd drive worked fine. I wrapped the entire laptop in bubble wrap and put it in an acceptable size box; not too small so that it was crammed in there but not so large that it moved around and could be damaged in the process in spite of the bubble wrap. Suffice to say, the "extreme damage" to the screen could not have occurred during shipping. This is an out and out fabrication. This company offered me $100 and when they received it and "inspected" it, the offer dropped to $23 based on the condition they claim it was in when received. I did not misrepresent it in any way. I answered their questions to the best of my ability.
