We were in our local home depot when a rep approched us and asked if we would be interested in having someone come out to our home about a water system. We refused. The rep conctinued to follow us through the store and began telling us that she just needed to get at least one person to sign up and that it wa not a commitment. Again, we told her no thank you. She went on about how she was going to loose her job and she has 3 kids. Typical. We agreed. When the time came, we kept rescheduling, 4 or 5 times maybe. 2 days before he was scheduled to show for the last time we resceduled, he just shows up at the door. Saying that he just happened to be in the area. From there on we were baited in and that was the beginning of our hell. We too, fell behind and from that moment no one wanted to work with us. We heard all of the same things as the other reviewers, they get paid regarddless. Lisa in the beginning was reasonable. This may be due to the fact that we had the money at the time to pay the settlement. We paid it and that was what I thought was the end. That was in 2011 or 2012. Fastward to today and we are in the process of refinancing our house and we are told that Castle Credit has a lean on the house. I contact Castle Credit and the first rep tells me it was settled and should have been removed. Transfers me to the arbitration department where you guessed it Lisa Ortiz answers. We discussed why I was calling and right of the bat she started getting defensive. She proceeded to tell me that when I made the settlement payment with her, I should have told her there was a lean my property. I asked her how was I to know that there was a lean my property and if this is something that I had dealt with her on from the beginning why did she not tell me about the lean. In turn she tells me "Becaue we want the balance owed of $2105.04." I asked her what is it that she offered and accepted a settlement if this was going to be an issue 3 years later. She started telling me that she can take my information over the phone for the amount. I asked her for the address and she told me I can mail it in but it will take them 30 days or longer if they wanted to clear it. She began talking over me at which point I was done. I just hung up
