Century Marketing Charged me over $250 and is thrtining to send me to collections. Helena Montana

about a year ago i was called by this company and they said that i was being offered a discount magazine subscription for being a visa card holder. i was just starting my freshman year in college and the subscription was for time magazine, so i thought it would help me and i got it.

after the first month of billing another magazine company started to charge me for magazines the i didnt sign up for or recieve. i called my bank and they cancled that subscription, but they couldnt cancel the other one.

so i called the company and asked if i could cancle the subscription, and they told me i was not allowed. so after 3 months this company had drained my account, and i was being fined hundreds of dollars by my bank for overdraft fees.

after a few more months of this i had to close my account. i thouhgt that they would stop the subscription, but they started to send be bills. i just ignored them because i didnt have any money to pay them.

well a month ago i was sent the bill but it said that i was being sent to collections, but it didnt say what agency i was being sent to, and so i contacted the company to get to the bottom of this.

when i called the company they said that i can settle my account for $279, so i paid half one month and was supposed to pay the second half the next month. i came across this site before i paid the second half, and now i am thinking that i was swindled out of hundreds of dollars.
