September 2011 I ordered 2 pair of pants from Chadwicks of Boston catalog. When I did not receive the order by November 2011 I cancelled the order and was told I would get my refund in 45 -60 days. It should be known the company cashed my check #5240 in tha amount of $82.97 in September 2011.

In November 2011, I sent a letter in writing requesting my refund back including the above conversation that I would get my refund back.

January 2012 I called the company about my refund. I was told the company was in the process of returning customer's refunds due to bankruptcy. 

February 2012 I called the company again. Attempted the Resolution@chadwicks.com website regarding my refund. The website was not in operation. Called the company back and was quoted the incorrect amount of my refund and asked to send a copy of my check. I did with a catalog copy of the pants I cancelled.

March 2012 I spoke to  supervisor Cynthia who said she received my documents and my refund was under investigation.

April 2012 I called the company and spoke to supervisor Shatisha and then I was told Grisella Tarra would call me back that day or the next day. Never received a call back. I called the next week. The representative could not find my information in the system.  I had to re-fax my documents to Salycia. During this month I was told my refund was still being investigated. Near the end of this month I recieved a letter from the company stating my refund is available through merchandise credit. I was not asked if I wanted my "refund" as a credit with the company.

Approximately May 2012 I called the company to get my refund back in cash (the way I paid it). I was told they could not do it per policy.

I sent a complaint to the Attorney General office in CT. September 2012, I was told to contact Chadwicks to get my merchandise credit. The Attorney General sent me right back to Chadwicks to again try to get my refund. It has been a year and I am right back where I started. Fighting to get my money back.
