Charterstone Financial Internet Scam Artist Englewood Cliffs New Jersey

Was contacted by this Company to lend me money. I dont have the best credit due to a divorce so I sat and listened to this guys sales pitch. Unbeknown to this guy I have a banking license in the state of PA.

First clue this was a scam. I had applied a few times for credit recently and this guy offered me 6 percent interest rate. I know with doing banking everyday and knowing my own credit score nobody in thier right mind would offer me 6 percent.

Second clue. I needed this money for a car and asked him where I would have to send the title. He said it was an unsecured loan. Yeh right. Like a finance company if they are given the opportunity to gain some type of collateral isnt going to take it.

Third and last clue before I started to research this company. They asked me for a fee based deposit. Illegal in the state of PA. To ask for a down payment is okay but cant be disclosed as a fee on contract. When I received the so called loan documents from this guy it was disclosed as a fee.

So this morning I started to call around and make some inquires about this company.

Better Business Bureau says they are a Canadian Based company but thier contract states Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

I demanded from David Hamilton thier Federal Tax ID number and thier Financial Institution Number for the State of New Jersey he told me I would have to have my lawyer draw up a request for them to reliquish this information. Wrong answer Dave or who ever you are. At any point during a financial transaction if a customer requests this information you are required to reliquish this info.

Called the New Jersey Department of Banking and they have never heard of this company and thier are no pending applications for them to establish a finance company in the State of New Jersey.

I hope they get you Dave or who ever you are cause the day they do I will spend whatever it costs to come to your sentencing and laugh.
