Chase Mortgage JP Morgan Chase Bank Mortgage Unethical Business practices, misleading, un-cooperative. Nationwide

 We had our original mortgage with Chase Bank and I have a condition in my current mortgage that it can never be sold to Chase Bank. Our problems started when we received a letter stating we were late on a payment. As far as I was aware of we were up to date. I called them to get caught up and determine when we were late. They stated we had missed a payment. I asked for what month, they gave me the missed month. I produced copies front and back of the clearned check for that date. Calling Chase to close out the issue, they told me it was for a different date. I produced the same documentation for that month. After my third contact to close issue they stated a different date, I then provided Chase with proof of payment for the entire year, they would not take my call and several other evasion tactics and as far as a fake fire alarm. I knew it was fake by calling right back into the same call center and getting a rep that had not heard any alarm, ever. Central Ohio Call Center. i spent over a decade working in call centers, knew the individual was not the problem and was always kind and calm to the person on the phone. (Later I found out one of the notes on my account stated I was abusive.) They stopped asking for proof of payment after I had provided 8 seperate proof of payments. I filed a claim with the BBB in NY where Chase is based and the closed my claim after a short period with a vague explanation why they couldn't move forward. I decided the best way to handle it was to refinance away, they held my mortgage hostage by stating I owed $5,000 late payments on $1,400/mo. 30yr. Fixed. I had no choice but to refinance the difference and haven't had a problem since with my new company. As if that wasn't enough, they put me at late on 5 payments even though I provided fedex signatures proving the delivery dates. They refused to remove the late payments and outside of them my credit is very good so there is no motivation to take more time off from work to totally scrub it from my credit. I doubt I will ever see any of my 5k but I hope I can motivate others in the same scenario to move away and discourage others from using them if they are researching who to finance with.
