Chase Mortgage new hope, Alabama

May 2011 we had damage to our home by a hail storm. The hail busted our skylight out in our roof and busted windows out of our house, not to metion damaged our siding, and messed the airconditoner up to the upstairs. We had a hard time with our insurance company at first and then when we finally got the check we sent it to Chase. We have been dealing with Chase for 2 months now on trying to get our money. We have a huge hole in our roof which is covered with a tarp but when it rains water leaks in. It has been 200 degrees upstairs with no air. Everytime we have called them we get a different answer. We are in a loan modification program also because my husband became sick and we fell behind by two months. We are now being told that we can't fix our house because we are behind. What the hell. They have told us they don't care that our daughter is having to sleep on the couch downstairs because there is no air. They have also told us that we are wasting their time when we are on the phone and they have told us the same thing. We have talked to numerous people and continue to get different answers. My daughters windows are boarded up so we can't even put a window unit upstairs. We are going to seek legal advice. I pay my insurance every month not them so how can they keep my check. We even told them to take the two payments out of the check and they refuse. My husband endoresed the check before mailing it.

Next time I will make sure not to endorse it. How can they be allowed to keep something that's not legally theirs. This is ridiculous.  We have been current on our payments for 15 years and then we fall a few months behind. What happened to the company having to work with their customers. Chase is a JOKE! I will not give up. I am worried that with winter approaching and no unit upstairs, now my child will freeze and we run a risk of pipes busting and having more damage. I say to all customers, Don't use Chase and if you can refiance do so. If I go to court with this I will make sure that I not only get my insurance check but my house will be paid for also.
