They have put a hold on my check and when I called to find out what the issue was, I was asked multiple questions on why the check was given to me, Did i work for it? How did I get it? Was it in person or in the mail? I am highly unsatisfied they act like like I am a criminal I cant stand this company very unprofessional and straight up thieves!!!

The bank was getting the information they are required to to prevent fraud, theft, etc. And also to protect their cistomer from possible scams. Holds can be effected by things such as who the check is from, the amount of check, the length of time the account has been opened, any overdrafts the account might have had and other things.
