Chase JP Morgan Refused to refund me when they refunded two others on trip in my group. Columbus Ohio

I booked a package to Mexico with Vacation Express for me and three friends.

Our trip was booked incorrectly from the beginning.  The first invoice was $2000 more than we were quoted.  I called and they sent the second invoice. 

The second invoice changed the number of nights on our trip which left us without a room on the last night and our flight (which was included in the trip) didn't leave til the next night.  I called immediately and pointed it out and asked them to correct it.  They never corrected it and never returned my many, many calls over the next few months.  At one point I was on hold for 45 min. twice and was told that a supervisor would call immediately and no one ever did.

I filed a dispute with Chase and so did two of my other friends who paid by Chase.  The bank filed against me and did not refund me while i just found out a week ago that the bank refunded my other two friends. 

Calling them, I was assured that they had no intention of refunding me and that I should contact Vacation Express.  I want to know why they refunded them and not me.  I was told, there was no more money and they had other infCo I didn't.  I faxed the documents several times to them and even faxed my friends claim to them so they could investigate.

Vacation Express says they have suffered a HUGE loss and they will not refund me.  I want to know why three of us was refunded and not me.  I am a senior citizen with a limited income as well.

Not only was i refused the refund, but the manager of the Claims Department was rude and disrespectful.

I have submitted a ripoff report for Vacation Express as well.

I filed a claim as did the other Chase customer who is my friend.  I booked the trip in one phone call with 3 cards - 1 credit card for one friend and 1 Chase card for my friend and her daughter, and my Chase card for me. Chase gave both of us provisional credits.  We both submitted the same claims (have emails and copies of faxes sent to Chase.)  Both of us received letters from Chase - her said completed research and determined that the transactions were processed incorrectly by the merchant or were unauthorized and her temporary credit was finalized.  My letter from Chase said we finalized the research reported by me on 7/16/15 and determined the transaction(s) was correct.  As a result, we're removing your temporary credit.  You are welcome to review the documents that support our decision - none were there.

I was the main person and called numerous times.  Each time I spoke with their agents, nothing was done.  If fact, there were times when I was on hold for 45 min. while they found a supervisor.  Then agent would get on the phone and say a supervisor will call you as soon as we hang up - never heard from anyone from the beginning ever.  Noone would fix the reservation.  The reservatiion was wrong from the beginning.  All of us tried numberous times to call and get it fixed from the beginning. We went on the trip because we thought we wouldn't recover the money we put in since they would not respond ever.

We sent/faxed:

Our invoices - each one different even with dates on the individual invoices.  Friend sent the same ones I sent.

Trip notes as to getting to our package hotel and told we don't have a reservation for the last night.  We had to book and pay for rooms.  Every morning instead of enjoying the beach and the pool, we were in the lobby with the agents trying to fix this as well. No luck.  Onee agent was helpful and gave us an email to send info.  She gave wrong email which I found out right away as it was returned.  Sent another email.

All of the photos I'm attaching and much more were faxed several times to Chase and Vacation Express.  It seems they were not looked at,

You seem confused..

You seem to think that Chase is in the business of processing REFUNDS.  They like every other bank does not process refunds...but disputes.

There are a lot of factors you have failed to mention that may be relevent.  Such as were these Debit or Credit Cards.  These are not the same and as such when it comes to disputes they are treated different.

For your friends credit was it only a "provisional" credit?  Many times if an investigation will take a longer period of time a bank out of courtesy will provide a temporary credit while they investigate.  However, if after this investigation is complete they and they find there is no grounds for a dispute they will reverse that credit.

How exactly what this package purchased?  Was it 3 separate transactions where you were all independent of each other, or was it a single where you each paid a portion?  Who was the "main" person on the reservation?

What information did you send them, and what information did your friends send them?
