CHBA I was misinformed and was told before the recording to answer yes to everything, and to ask questions after the recording. During the recording it asks are you aware this is not health ins. As instructed I waited until after the recording to question this. What is the purpose of CHBA, and was told theere would be not out of pocket expenses for medical care. Coconut Creek Florida

I received a call from CHBA claiming they found out I was interested in health insurance for my family. He explained that CHBA is a non-profit organization. And that I can add my existing medical provider, there is no out pocket expenses for medical care, emergency room visits are also included. I was then told that our conversation would be recorded but that I cannot interupt the recording question & answer, should I have any questions, just say yes and ask questions after the recording was done. I found this strange, and said so, I was informed this way it saves time.

During the recording I first found out this was not health insurance as it asks are you aware this. As instructed I waited until after the recording to question this. That is when the rep said no we are not medical insurance only a health care advocacy. He said to read the paperwork being mailed to me and I would understand better. But I was reassured this would cover doctor visits, I have not found any doctors in New York that accept this CHBA. And when I tried to "nominate" my private medical doctor, I get an error message. I worked as an office manager in a hospital for 20 years and know many doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators. As I continued to try and use CHBA I kept being told this was a fraud. No one has heard of such a thing. I asked the CHBA salesman if I would have to pay the medical bill first, then get reimbursed, he said no, I don't pay anything
