In October I noticed a $29.97 charge on my Am Ex by Christian Carter with only an 800 number referenced. I called to question the charge, I got a recording and was asked to leave my contact info. I did not get a call back. In November I received another charge from Christian Carter, this time for $22.97, I called again. This time someone did call me back. I asked "Susan" what the charge was for, they said they would have someone in sales get back to me.
No one did. In December, I received yet another charge of $22.97 from Christian Carter, called again and left my info on the recording. No one called back. I called again. This time "Christy" called. I asked again what the charge was for, what did they sell, I did not remember purchasing anything from them. Someone would get back to me. Jan same scenario. Feb same thing. I came to the conclusion that these were fraudulant charges, that Christian Carter "sold" smoke and mirrors and somehow had gotten my Am Ex Number. I finally reached someone in March, they could not find my account and wanted my e-mail address, my address, my phone number and my Am Ex number to try and locate my account. I said the reason they could not find my account was because I did not have one, never ordered anything from them and that i wanted reimbursement for the charges which now totaled $144.62! I did not want to give them any additional information!
In April, another $22.97 charge! This is ridiculous! I then called Am Ex, they can only remove charges made within the last 60 days. I just got off the phone with "Marilyn" basically, same thing - she cannot find my account and would have to get with her "Team Leader". I said I wanted to talk to her Supervisor or Team Leader, she will have her contact me. This people apparently work out of their homes, block their phone numbers and play a shell game to see how long they can charge people for nothing. I have sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and am filing a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General.
