RE: Closed Lease # 7000081765

Dear Ms. Poole:

In reviewing your Lease Charges I believe your company is inaccurate. With all the mistakes made by Chrysler Financial, I want a full audit completed of my file with a copy of all details to me before any pay any final charges. I would ask that you have a manager or supervisor also review my account as the treatment I getting is unreal. I would never buy a Chrysler product with a Chrysler lease again. I plan to forward a copy of these documents to Chrysler Customer Service and also to my Lawyers.

Here is what my records show versus what you note. I have attached backup for everything I noted below:

1. On February 3, 2003 I called Chrysler Financial Customer Service to review the charges it would take to close my loan early and what next steps I would have to take. I was told as long as I closed my account before my next due date, which was 3/17/03 I would owe $624.60 to close the lease Early. They also told me I had to call ITS first to have my cars vehicle condition review completed.

2. On February 3, 2003 I call ITS and set up an vehicle condition review on 2/13/03. The vehicle condition review was completed by ITS on 2/13/03 as per the attached documents from ITS.

3. On Friday, February 14, 2003, I called Chrysler Financial Customer Service again to close my lease early. The told me they could do a transaction from my checking account for a $5.00 fee and the cost to close out my loan would be $624.60 (see my attached bank statement). That amount included what I owed in Unpaid Taxes. Kristin in Customer Service x 0815 processed my request which was withdrawn from my checking account on 3/18/03, the following Monday after my call. I have since learned that Customer Service did not process my request properly kept my Lease in an ACTIVE status versus Lease Closed Status. This info was provided to me by Lee x 5834 in the Closed Lease Department at which time he begin the process to show my lease as closed. Per your invoice to me, you show my lease close date as 02/27/03.

4. On February 15, 2003 I returned the vehicle to Bob Dance Dodge in Sanford FL, the dealer which I purchased. 2/15/03 should be the lease vehicle return date (see attached documents) not 2/27/03 as you document states. The dealer said the car was in great condition and they planned to purchase it from Chrysler, which they did that day. They also told me they did not expect I would have to pay anything further for the vehicle mileage overage due to the excellent condition.

5. On February 17, 2003 Chrysler Financial also pulled from my checking account my normal monthly lease payment (see attached bank account statement again), even though the Lease was closed on February 14, 2003 and the car was returned on February 15, 2003. I guess this happened due to Chrysler Financial not putting me in the right status on February 14, when I closed the loan.

So here is a recap of what I paid and what I might owe for mileage (although based on what the dealer told me, I feel I owe nothing):

1. PAID to close lease on 2/14/03 $ 624.60

2. Chrysler pulls 2/17/03 Lease Payment in Error $ 335.21

3. Refund of $300 Security deposit not received
Minus ITS Vehicle Condition report damage
cost of $116.00 $ 184.00

Total of Credits $1143.81

Mileage Owed (per your invoice which I debate) -- 2346.00

Potentially Owed to Chrysler Financial $1202.19

I debate I owe anything extra, but if I must pay, I will only agree to pay $1202.19 unless you prove what I note is incorrect.
