Recently I was looking at my online bank account and found out that some company named CIC Credit Monitoring Svc had debited my account for $79.95. I have never gave them the authorization for it. I then called my bank. Unfortunately, that was a dead end.

Since it was not completely and fully debited yet. They told me to call back as soon as it was debited. So now I am sitting here waiting for that to happen so I can get my money back. I tryed thinking on when this could have happened.

Only one thing came to mind. About almost 3 months ago, I was online "trying" to get a "free" credit report. Well I had submitted my information, but never received anything. So I'm stuck in a loop until then.

Tell your bank to visit this site, so that they can see the consumers who come here EVERYDAY, because of this Rip-off. If they refuse, mail them a copy of your Report, with two or three others for an example, and for proof. They might think you're just trying to get out of paying a bill, when this is clearly not the situation.

CIC Monitor is known for deceptive selling practices. They entice you with a "Free Credit Report", in order to bill you for an unrequested security service. Have them visit the site to see for themselves. The website is: www.consumerinfo.com They can see with their own eyes that the purchase of credit card security services remains unclear.

Now, for that refund call 1-888-888-8553. This number has brought results to people who have accessed help here. It should work. Get back to us if it does not work.

Seriously, educate your bank. Some banks are inflexible, because they don't understand the nature of internet shopping. Then again, you said it was an online bank. Well, just to make sure you don't get hit with overdraft fees or any other problems, make sure they know.

One last thing---CHANGE ALL OF YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBERS. Now that they have invited themselves to your account, you never know when it might happen again.

Hope you get your refund.

And let us know when you're out of that loop. ;)
