CIC Credit Reporting ripoff Orange California

I was also a victim of this company. I wanted to get a credit report to become aware of any dicrepancies. I thought I was being charged only $5.00 and a month later was charged $79.95.

I honestly got this site confused with another Credit Reporting company which I had just gone to a few weeks before. I was charged $29.95 on that site and because I had never done this before did not see a problem with paying another $5.

Long story short, I called CIC, and was very "nice" about wanting to cancel and also mentioned I was not aware at the time of the 79.95 charge. She told me I would get credit to my account within 7-10 days..... We will see. I wish there was a sure way to shut companies like these down!
