Hard to cancel, but I got my money back REALLY easily! Internet .....

I was VERY freaked out when I noticed the charge to my account of 79 bucks for what was listed as a FREE service! Although inlike many of you I actuall saw the info about having to cancel before the end of 30 days, but I couldn't figure out HOW to cancel! They did not make it easy, so I gave up, and said that I should be sure to call their help dsek to find out how to cancel, and then, well,.... I forgot, and lo and behold I was charged the money!

Well, after reading this message board, I totally freaked out and thought that I would not get my money back based on the shady deal they have set up to kind of trick you into letting them charge your card, and then the fact they did not make it obvious how to cancel... So I called my bank to see if I could just cancel the charge or something, and they so there was not way to do so, that I would have to dispute the charge after it finished posting.

Well, just for laughs, I called CIC to ask them to cancel my membership, just to see how difficult it was gonna be, and to say at least I tried, but, again, lo and behold, they simply said, "ok", snd sent me a confirmations email, and promptly refunded the whole 79 bucks with no drama whatsoever.

Just thought I'd let ya' know that it was easier than I would have thought!

Good luck to you all, I would suggest just calling and cancelling immediately, and without drama and you never know, it may work for you like it did for me--Maybe you all have changed things by exposing them like this and now they are better at the refund process. Although I still think they need to change the waqy they market and support their product!
