Cincinnati Bell Double-Billing Cincinnati Ohio Nationwide

I filed a report about Cincinnati Bell asking for help.  I paid two early termination fees in July 2014 for two wireless telephones totaling $350.  I thought it was over and done with because the ETF is supposed to represent your "penalty" for terminating early.  No, Cincinnati Bell punished me again.

I received a bill for August 2014 - the month following my termination - for the full balance of what would have been due had I not terminated.  It was not prorated, nothing.  So my bill totaled $865.  I do not understand how they can assess an early termination fee AND bill you - un-prorated - for another full month.  It is billing on a terminated contract.  I disputed it with them, and they sent me a curt, cut-and-paste reply as follows:  

"We do remind you every  month through your  monthly billing that when terminating wireless service,  the charge for the service plans and features will not be prorated for the partial month of service  and  customers  will be charged the full monthly service fees for the cancelled line/s. "

So I terminated a contract - was assessed a "penalty" for doing so supposedly representing the damage they suffered as a result of the termination AND then got slammed with a full month's bill.  How is this legal?  IS this legal?

I welcome any effort by Cincinnati Bell or an attorney to resolve this because it is underhanded, wrong, and I'm not convinced even legal.  Please feel free to contact me about legal action or any other resolution.
