Cinergy Health Insurance Don't fall for this scam! Not real health insurance... discount plan. I tried to cancel(they give you ten days after you recieve your packet) They gave me 2 fax numbers that were bogus to send my cancellation notice. They won't do it over the phone... the agent that sold me the plan would never answer or return my calls. I had to call my bank and cancel my debit card so they wouldn't charge me. Sunrise Florida

Unfortunately, we have never had a member by the name of Frances Johnson that resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Therefore it is impossible for us to research the specific instances of your alleged situation to determine what, if any, action is needed on our part. Further, based upon your complaint, you stated that no charges had been made to your account. If you had not been billed, then your membership would not have been activated and a cancellation would not have been necessary.

In regards to your claims that Cinergy Health is a scam and a discount plan, it appears that you have not actually reviewed the policy and membership information that we allegedly sent you. If you had, you would realize that Cinergy Health is not a discount plan, but rather we are a licensed health and life insurance agency in all 50 states and D.C. While we do not offer major medical insurance, we do provide a limited medical benefit insurance plan that is designed with the intention of delivering meaningful and defined health insurance coverage at rates that are more affordable than those associated with major medical insurance.

We understand that our health plans may not be suitable for everyone. Therefore, we ask that every healthcare consumer make a thorough personal assessment to determine if a limited medical plan is sufficient to meet their own healthcare needs. As with most things it is often a trade-off between cost and the extent of coverage you get. Unfortunately for many, the choice is difficult because of the rapidly increasing cost of major medical health insurance.
