Circuit City Advantage Protection Plan "FULLY FUNCTIONAL" is what the advertise, but NOT what the practice Richmond VA

We purchased the Advantage Protection Plan for our Phillips TV. The ON/OFF button has fallen off and fell into the TV.

Now the only way to turn the TV on / off is to stick your finger INTO the TV. One of my children has cut their finger trying to do this.

So, we call in Circuit city to use the plan we paid for. They send a repair shop to pick up the TV (5 weeks ago). The repair shop calls to tell me Circuit city DENIED the repair, the ON/OFF button is COSMETIC and NOT required for the TV to be "FULLY FUNCTIONAL".

Really ??? I call the support center and spoke with the RUDEST individual. Victor L585749. Who stated that it doesn't MATTER that I FEEL that the on/off button is important. It is not and they claim it is COSMETIC. So there, take your TV back and have a good day.

Are you kidding me ??? Where do I go from here ?
