advertising their onkyo tx sr604s at 302+tax if ordered online. Problem is you can't get them to ship it, and there is nowhere you can pick it up if you did order it. They do have the black model (exactly the same) for another 200 which they will ship. I called in they didn't dispute the fact that it was a bait and switch tactic and refused to do anything but try and sell me the black model for another $200
Thanks but I will spend 40 more than you offered on your silver for a nice black model w/o having to wait on hold for 40 minutes to be told I was a sucker.

Actually Nothing within 100 miles of my home had it, and before the customer service person ever asked me my zip code he told me it would not be available for pickup or delivery.
It seemed odd to me that he knew this before ever asking. He admitted it sounded pretty bad as well but was unable/unwilling to do anything about this.

... at the online price, and was able to pick it up at my local Circuit City with no problem. There was never a "bait and switch" here.
Was the problem that your local store did not have the item in stock? In that case, there is really nothing you can do! They can't make the product appear out of thin air!
