It is a small car and i have put 10.00 at a time many times. All with the gas price within 20 cents gal. And 10.00 usually gives me over 1/4 tank of gas. I usually get between 1/4 and 1/2 tank at other stations.
It seems there are 2 stations off 11 mile rd that are shorting their customers gas. This station and the shell at 11and dequindre.
I know how much 10.00 gss gets in my tank. Im not an idiot

i've managed gas stations for 12 years and get this type of idiot customer at least once or twice a year, especially w/ high prices.
The avg tank of on a midsized car is 16 gallons. The avg tank on an suv is 25 gallons.
You put in less than 3 gallons, so your needle, if it was buried, wouldn't move much.
we all know that we can go a little bit farther than what our fuel gauge tells us we can go. It's a safety net.
you simply filled in the little safety reservoir w/ your piddling little ten bucks.
next time, fill up for the entire month/week instead of just for the day cheapskate.

Were you filling the car yourself? If so, don't you normally feel the gas pulsating through the hose, and hear it as it courses through into your car?
How big is your tank? A big enough tank might not register much of a change on the needles with just 3 gallons or less added.
