Another classic in my book!  Ive been known to still do this from time to time just for a few chuckles!

I would bet the daughter and the person who drove off were friends. A lot of broke college kids know this trick.  A person goes inside and pays for gas (usually female) and runs back in upset because someone else used the gas. If the upset person puts on a good show the attendant may go ahead and credit the person for the gas "stolen" and the 2 people go to another station and try it again. No rip-off here, only a easily fooled mother.

People have done me dirty for no reason & I have not done anything to anyone just expose how wrong I was treated.  But these assholes don't give a crap about anyone.

I just would like to,   tell "A******" robert he can insult my spelling all he feels like there Is nothing wrong with It that goes for the idiot stacy and you can call me chuckles all you feel like.  I am a human being just,  like you & I am not some dog you can abuse.

There Is nothing wrong with my spelling the real scumbags,  are the ones who have attacked me personally insulted me personally.  The real scumbags are the ones who defend the "Bad People",  they know I am telling the truth.  But they don't wont to be on my side.

These people try to make me feel low, but It makes me a stronger person.  This just shows'  how immature so called grown adults really are.

I cannot believe that your daughter would head off to college without a debit card or credit card! Was that the last $15 she had to her name? I doubt it. Almost every gas station has pay at the pump.I won't get gas anywhere that doesn't offer it.

Interesting how the story changes when you realize what you wrote doesn't really help your claims.  Almost as interesting as why if this happened to your daughter are you the one posting the report?

I wonder what the next version of your story will be.  I am thinking some conspiracy theory between the cashier and this woman.  Hey you might even throw in a Keith Friberg smoothie(regulars know what this means)

Oh and yes the comparison is very valid.  But of course I can see how you don't see the simularity, because if you did you would have to admit that even though your daughter made a mistake the gas station is under no obligation to give her any money back.  Just as in a test where if she made a mistake the professor is under no obligation to change her grade.

Anyways I hope you show the news stations both versions of your report..  Then when they do the report please post the link, as I am sure that everyone would love to see it.

Actually found out the gas attendent put the gas on the wrong pump, not my daughter and the problem solvers from chanel 2 seem to think its worth looking into..Really a gas attendent to a test score. cmon...

This is a customer service issue. You own a station you know how to run it.. if you can't figure out you dont put money on a pump someone is already pumping on. Not rocket scientry. She would not have had less than 1/4 of a tank had she been able to pump her gas.

Your daughter inadvertently paid for another person's gas. The gas station attendant honored the purchase request by a customer (your daughter) and should not be penalized for it. Not a rip off.

Your daughter gave them the wrong pump number and someone pumped the amount she paid for...CASE CLOSED

Perhaps your daughter should take this as a lesson to be a little more aware.  I would be willing to bet that every time she goes to pump gas from now on she is going to double-check her pump number.

Here is something you and your daughter can think about.  What would happen if she took a test in school, turned the test in, had it graded and then "realized" she put A instead of B?  Do you think the professor would say "Oh no problem I'll go right ahead and change your grade".  Would you be writing a RipOff report on the professor if they didn't let her change the answer after it was graded?

There's just so much wrong in this little story. I would expect that kind of mistake from a fifth grader, but a college student? Lord, I took off for the Marines at 18 as soon as I graduated from high school. "He left my college student stranded with no gas, hysterical, crying and scared...not the best area". "She was rude" SEE PREVIOUS COMMENT. The little princess needs to wise up and grow up. It's a cold, cruel world out there. One other thing. I've taught my wife and grandkids. Don't EVER let your vehicle get below a quarter of a tank of gas. Then you don't have to worry about running out of gas in the "not the best area".
