After several months of being a club Pogo member, and having a account for my child. I have had to delete my Child's account because Pogo has allowed certain members to use free passes week after week and attack children and women.
They have allowed this member to talk about raping women and children, talks about killing women and children allows him to stalk women and children. They terminate one free pass account just to allow him to create another one and start all over. Each time they delete one account he comes back even worse
It is not fair that Myself as well as several other members have had to terminate their paid membership to prevent this member from stalking and threatening its members.
The members name is usually something BAREBEAR it is hard to give his actual name though due to the fact every 5 days he changes.
he stalked a close friends of mine 14 year old daughter just for saying hi to a member he did not like. Pogo then lied to the member and said their is nothing they are able to do to prevent this from happening again
I have hosted accounts and servers before. I know the tools that they have that they can prevent a repeated abuser from entering the servers again.
even in the TOS they say they have these other actions such as banning a IP address to prevent these attacks. and they have refused to do something.
He has been going on for several years with a few members. and for myself and my family he has been going on for close to a year

Pogo is a joke

Pogo Club Members support Pogo. We support the site yet Pogo doesn't support US. It is ridiculous to expect people to turn off chat. Kids maybe but not adults. It is Pogos responsibility to keep game rooms clean and abuse free. I do not agree with turning off chat for adults. Many adults have friends in the pogo rooms. To turn off chat is just a sorry lame attempt to address the symptoms of the problem. The problem is the abusers who make name after name to harrass, bash, threaten, etc. Get rid of the PROBLEM then there won't be the stupid fixes of telling people to "turn off chat". I'm filing a Consumer Affairs Complaint about Pogo, tired of endless abuse when the abusers don't get banned, the people who say something back that is very relatively MILD do get banned.
Pogo has been taking a monthly fee of $5.99 a month for one of my Club Pogo Account names for about 8 months now. I have emailed them constantly to stop, they don't. So when I do a dispute with my Bank, they can only go back 2 months for a refund. Pogo is a ripoff.
Pogos Advertisers need to know that Pogo GREATLY inflates its membership percentages. One single person can have hundreds of accounts. This is another reason why Pogo doesn't like to ban accounts, makes their already hyper inflated numbers, seem less. Pogo rips everybody off, all around.

Amom's suggestions are very good. In addition to those I would like to add that you have the ability to block all people who are not on your friend's list! I often do this, and sometimes I block EVERYONE just because I want to be left alone to play in peace. These tools are not just for Club Pogo members (who pay extra) but also for the free members. I also have been playing at Pogo for years and enjoy it very much.

I am in no way shape or form judging anything anyone else does. But when my child is on Pogo I turn off the chat and also pogo, gives us the tool to be able to mute annoying players then they can not bother us. I have found that when you mute someone they move on they are in it for a reaction, and when givin none its no fun for them so they go elsewhere. Just a thought. Sorry you had such a bad experience. I do enjoy pogo alot and have been playing there for years.
