I have tried obtaining a refund of $2,756 for failure to deliver on what was purchased as well as misrepresentation of what was being purchased.
What I thought I was getting for my $2,756 was:

1. Promoter Online Lead Generation System (paid for one year, not free for one month)

2.One Touch Marketing Personal Coaching Program specifically geared toward the technology issues I asked the seminar presenter about. Specifically a way to coordinate all of my existing databases and truly create a one-touch marketing system. I was told after the seminar leader consulted with someone at the back of the room that this would be possible.

3.Letter marketing system (to be used with Top Producer which I told them I have, don't use and would be discontinuing.)

What I actually received was four weeks of coaching --two weeks of getting to know me with no reference to all of the forms I had completed and sent in, followed by two weeks of coaching which focused on how to generate business by working for-sale-by-owner properties. The second week was a repeat of the first which indicated to me that the first week wasn't notated in such a way that the coach was aware of what we'd already covered.

On the fifth week (9/10), I received a call from my coach telling me that he didn't think he was the right coach for me and that I should call customer service and request to be transferred to a Craig Breuner. I spoke Suzanne who then transferred me to Laura. There was to be a call back to set up this new coaching relationship. Eight weeks passed with no calls from Coaching Insitute. I instituted requests through my credit card company to get a refund. I also consulted an attorney who did write them a letter. That did generate a call to schedule a coaching appointment with no reference to my requests for a refund. When I mentioned it, they said they would get back to me but didn't. The last communication I received was in response to the attorney letter from their customer service department. They sent a rebuttal which put all of the responsibility on me with an offer to continue the coaching and no acknowledgement of their role in discontinuing the coaching calls on their end.

I am most dissatisfied with the services provided, the lack of follow through, and, what I believe to be a misrepresentation of what I was purchasing. Had I known it was only coaching, and the level of coaching to be provided, I would never have signed the contract. I have been coached by some of the best in the industry and was really looking for technical support.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

time for Class Action Lawsuit. I have evidence of fraud against Coaching Institute

AUTHOR: Dgn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 02, 2008

I am a former employee and I have all of the seminars on DVD or VHS. I have proof of most of what they say is fraudulent.

Most of the instructors have NEVER been licensed or NEVER practiced Real Estate. The examples they use are untrue and manufactured.

The only way these people have ever made money is by getting you to write a check. Not one of them makes money from being involved in an active real estate practice.

So when the material information of what they say entices you to buy and that information is untrue that is fraud.

I just what a law firm to begin a class action law-suit. I have documents, recordings, threats from the owner and Video to prove anything.

I was terminated because I wanted to clean the company up. I told Craig Hendricks that the company would grow exponentially if we actually provided a service that was congruent with what was promised.

Most of the speakers are classified as independent contractors which is also against IRS code.
