 I have live at the current address for about 1 and half years. I have always paid my rent on time. Last month by mistake I paid 50 dollar less for my rent but on time and did the same for this month. I just got mixed up on the amount. Instead of calling, texting or emailing me as she has in the past concerning different issues she sends me a certified letter in the mail stating that I owe her almost 600 dollars for late fees. I ask why she did not let me know before know because I always pay on time. She said because she did not have to. When I tried to talk to her about it she just wants the money. When I first moved in the toilet kept overflowing. I would get a plunger and work with it. When I ask her to fix it the plumber pulled out an old hat that been there for at least over a year. She made the statement that the hat looked like in had been the pipes for at least a year. When I reminded it that I had not been there for a year she recanted what she said. To keep down confusion I paid the bill. This landlord is money hungrier and don not care how she gets it. Labretha Mesquite Texas
