COLLECT PROS COLLECT PROS PAYMENTS MADE EASY My spouse received a letter from Collect Pros stating that she owed $224.15 for US Weekly Magazine to be paid within 30 days. This product has never been ordered or received by her. I saw on another site Complaints Board that another individual had received basically the same letter. This is a scam. WOBURN Maine

Collect Pros Payments made easy sent a letter to my spouse acting as a collections agency and attempting to collect a debt for US Weekly Magazine in the amount of $224.15 to be paid within 30 days. They give 3 payment options:  1) secure payment online 2) over the phone (which if called is an automated male voice) and 3) mail a payment using a coupon below. 

They also state that you can dispute this debt by letter and if not disputed it will be assumed that the debt is valid. We have never ordered or received US Weekly magazine yet alone in the amount of 224.15.  That seems like a lot of magazine.  This is a scam attempt to de fraud us out of this amount of money.  I also saw on complaintsboard.com an individual also receiving basically the same letter but with a different mailing address.
