I started ctu after I received 11,000 in loans! Covered 3 months and then I supposibly failed? I wrote projects even I didn't know I could write, covered a ton of areas and they didn't even ask if I needed other options or needed 1 on 1 help with any problems.... They had instructors that didn't even know what they were teaching, I didn't know that hearing umm , and, also a thousand times were part of the cirriculum. if the instructors could not read a script they had no real idea what they were talking about. I busted my tail going above and beyond even when I fell behind!

Working hrs on a project that should of taken minutes. No instructor ever told me I was behind or anything I needed to do to get back on track, after 3 months of busting my tail they just failed me and kicked me out, leaving me to owe 11,000 how come I owe 11,000 for just 3 months of my time? When their crappy instructors counldnt teach me nothing to begin with. If I had a real question about a real problem I couldn't get it answered. They had no problem having tea and socializing over nothing though.

I am a single mom and cannot continue my education bc I owe all that money....I may of fell behind once or twice, but all the work I was pulling out....there is no way I should of failed. And my spouse could speak for that as well. I feel absolutely sorry for anyone who has these same problems. I knew I was getting scammed when the instructor I had could only say ummmmmmm while teaching her session. Sorry hun, but I didn't pay all this money to hear ummmm. For anyone that did receive a degree, I honestly believe it was a fluke...someone above couldn't even spell college and they received their degree? How twisted is that. I would def.

Take part in any class action law suit! Bc they def. Are taking my time, yrs of my life that I could of had a real degree and a real job! Instead their taking every penny I have. Its not fair. I hope they get shut down! And I would def. Recommend going elsewhere for your degree!....also, wonders how much the ppl above are getting paid? Or how many times 1 person is signing an acct on here to speak nothing but good things....when there's obviously nothing but bad!

CTU Operations are legal--No Scam

AUTHOR: Robin - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, September 11, 2013

I have read positive and negative comments about CTU. I am sure some people have legitimate issues with this university, but many people do not understand organizations have rules and regulations. The BBB rates CTU an “A+”. They have received reports against this university, but after investigating each situation, they find they are following all of the rules and regulations required by the Higher Board of Education. I have been attending CTU for almost three years and will be graduating later this month with a BSBA/Project Management. I have worked hard to complete this program. Many of the complaints I see about CTU is people wanting to attend an online school to get a degree without putting any effort in it. Working towards a degree online takes self-discipline, hard work, and determination. I have had no issues with the financial aid department because I did as I was instructed to do. CTU wants their money from the students enrolled in their programs. Of course, they want their money. Regardless of this being an educational institution, it is also a business. During the past three years, while attending CTU: 1) I held down a full-time job 2) I cared for two young (age 1 & 3) girls and their mother, who has mental and addiction issues, for a year 3) I have a husband with dementia that is getting worse (beginning to middle stages of Alzheimer’s Disease 4) I have an adult son on drugs 5) My father died passed away 6) I help care for my elderly mother since my dad passed and my mom has: --had a heart attack --had a pacemaker put in --had a toe amputated --moved out of her home of 50 years to a retirement center These are just a few issues I have had the past three years. I understand times can be tough, but we have control of our future. Just because things do not go the way we want them to, some people are too quick to write negative reviews about an organization they are in dispute about. Technology in the world today is wonderful, but it is a shame people will use it to hurt others (personal or professional). So, end the end, I believe for successful completion of an online education, the student needs to put in an effort. Nothing in life is easy or free. If a degree is worth working towards, then that is what a person should do—work towards that degree. If a person is not self-disciplined and willing to spend a majority of their time behind a computer screen, then online education is not for them. CTU follows their university policies and every student has the option to read what is required by the university and what is expected out of the student. CTU is accredited by the Higher Board of Education and the Better Business Bureau.
