Columbia House ripoff, fraudulent practice, misrepresentation Terre Haute Indiana

Columbia House scams another one with the $50 gift card that does not exist. The scam is that you must become a member of the Columbia House DVD club and agree to buy four selections. In exchange for membership you will receive a $50 gift card. Wrong. I have emailed, written real letters, and called on the phone to only get bold faced lies told to me. The last phone call I was told that the affiliate offering the gift card would be contacted and I would receive my gift card. That was two months ago. My credit card was billed for merchandise returned in Sept. and they refuse to remove it. Now, they refuse to communicate via email.

This company needs to be stopped from fleecing America through scams like this. The affiliates, Wal-mart, Kmart, Target, etc., need to be stopped too as this is definitely a group thing.

Columbia House will continue to send me a bill and eventually will put a strike against my credit. What this company refuses to understand is that the membership agreement is null and void because the company refuses to honor the $50 gift card affiliate program.

I am looking for anyone who has fallen victim to the Columbia House DVD scam, and the MedicalBillersNetwork scam, to join me in a class action in the hopes of recovering our money. These companies need to be exposed in order to put an end to this fraudulent activity.
