Comcast cable Xfinity Comcast Ripping folks off on internet charges Petal, MS Nationwide

 We have used comcast/xfinity for tv and internet for 12 years.  Our bill has always been the same, other than when changing our package with them. All of a sudden after 12 years of service I get a bill of over $200 a 100 bucks more than our bill of 150 every month.

 I called customer service multiple times and kept getting rude forigners who do not speak english well at all. I was told its a 100 more because you went over the data usage allowed of 300 gb. Not once in those 12 years have we ever been told there was a 300 gb limit on net usage. Was asked if I ever check my email, because they sent out notices. I check my email everyday and never once recived anything about being charged for usage. I get emails about my bill being ready and promotions thats it.

 I asked why after 12 years, was I all of a sudden being charged for data usage, when we are on the net same amount as normal, and have never in 12 years been charged, or had data usage mentioned. All they kept repeating was you went over the 300 gb allowed. Therefore there is a 100 charge for it...

 I tried to explain there was never nothing said about usage, or mentioned even in our package deal we have had. The rep got rude and didnt want to listen to anything I was saying, other than we would have to now pay a 250 dollar bill if we wanted to keep our service.

 Somthing needs to be done about them all of a sudden charging for somthing, ya never have been charged for before. Not to mention they need some English speaking reps..Looking for a new service provider in my area. Comcast needs to be sued!
