I am having the same problem as Edward Gomez from Louisiana that also filed on this site. I have not made it as far as he has with the company contacts,but everything I've done to this point is word for word by his description.

I bought the 4GB SanDisk in October, paid with a money order, experienced problems, contacted the company and SanDisk informed me of the same poor fate. By the way Edward, my 4GB Sandisk has the EXACT SAME serial number! I teach school and do a LOT of paper work and picture taking for my church...I really needed this to work to keep up with everything. What a disappointment!
I am at the waiting point for a contact from CPS, Inc.
Maybe if my lawyer called.......
