Compuvest will Lie Cheat and Steal your money.. Even if you file a dispute with your credit card company... Renton, Washington

I ordered an open box, but NEW printer from Compuvest. The printer arrived in a brown box with bubble wrap, well packaged.. and looked to be in decent new like condition.

I hooked up the printer within 1-2 days of receiving it. Printed about 5-10 pages and all was good.

The next day we tried to print again and the unit caught fire internally and exploded into flames. We needed to grab the extinguisher to put it out.

I assume it was a circuit board or something that caused this.. So the unit was clearly defective.

I called Compuvest for a return or credit. They said return or credit are only allowed within 2 days. It was 4 days, so I already passed my return timeframe.

I was furious and called my credit card company to back me up and dispute the charge.

The credit card company reversed the charge for 30 days.. Then received a letter from Compuvest explaining that our building had burned down and the fire was not their fault. They completely twisted the truth and were very professional in lying to my credit card company. I tried to reason with them but to no end.

Compuvest are a bunch of crooks.. Selling nearly defective merchandise and robbing people blind.

The printer is still here on my floor. burnt up. And printer was already paid for.
