Conseco (Green Tree) Rip-off, Fradulent Practices, Lies, Where do I start? Tempe Arizona

Where do I start? My husband and I refinanced with Conseco in July 2001. We were about to have a new baby and I had just graduated from nursing school so we were going to refinance to pay off and consolidate bills. We were promised a 5.65% interest rate (we had a 7.0 with our previous company) and our property tax and insurance was included in our payment. We were also told that if we paid half a payment every two weeks we would pay off our load in 12 years and we had no prepayment penalty. We met, we signed, we thought we were good to go.....

A month later we got a call from our insurance company saying our house insurance would be cancelled because of nonpayment. I called Conseco and they said our insurance was not included and it could never be because they do not have escrow accounts. I then asked for a copy of all the papers I signed because I started to feel like something was not right. They would not give them to me and when I continued to call the talked very hateful to me. After filling a report with the better buisness burea they sent a few papers but I do not remember some of them. THESE PAPERS HAD BEEN ALTERED. When I signed, my name was spelled wrong on some of the papers, but I was right on the papers I received. Then I saw where I have a 13% interest rate with a 36 month prepayment penalty! I did not sign this. I would have never signed this! Then when I asked about the every two week plan, I was told htey did not know what I was talking about. It has ruined us. We are a young family and we are buried so far under Conseco that we can never get out. We have also paid some late payments because it is so hard for us to make the payments. We have a repayment penalty too. How can we get out?

If anyone knows about a class action suit, PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know.
