Consolidated Media Services (CMS.)Rips Off Soldier

I'm speaking for my Son who's in Iraq now fighting for the Freedom we love so Dear. This Freedom also allows this company to keep ripping off people of theie had earned money. My Son ordered magazines from Consolidated Media Services (CMS.)in October of 2002. He wanted to st himself up with magazines to read while in Iraq. He left for Iraq in Feb of 03'4 months after ordering the publications of his choice. He still hadn't started receiving any as of yet. He gave me the information in a letter to have at hand when I called the company. They have since given me thr run around about the magazines, and there cannot be a refund.

In August, my Son asked that I change the address to our home address so it would be easier for the magazines to get there instead of being forwarded from Ft. Campbell, KY.to Iraq. Last month in November, when I called, they said that the magazines should come any day, that the address change takes 8-12 weeks to catch up. That was over a month already. I just called them again after finding this web site and reading some of the complaints against them. The Manager was not available, can you imagine that, but he will return my call, I know he won't.

So I guess the $450 that was taken out of my Son's account should be considered a Gift to the company. The total amount was to be $600, but I had the bank put a stop on his account and I told the company that the buck stops there so to speak. They agreeded on that and stopped taking the money out. I think we all need to find a way to put these people out of Business, they are taking advantage of way too many people. I wonder how many more US Military Personal was scamed also.
