Consolidated Media Services, CMS ripoff fraudulent ripoff business Atlanta Georgia

I was initially led to believe they were going to charge me only for 1 magazine at a rate of $3.66 per week, while sending me 4 magazines each month. I agreed and gave them my cc number. Then I was transferred to another agent. I was then advised that they were not going to charge me over a 4 year period as I was led to believe. I was able to do the calculation of the charges as they were then presented to me. It worked out to be $600. I explained to the woman that this was as much as my monthly car insurance and I was UNWILLING to go through with it.

She apologized that she could not convince me otherwise and said she would cancel my order. Within 20 minutes my debit card was charged for 50 some odd dollars. I immediately called my bank and they thought from the machine number listed on their computers it was probably a scam. I canceled my card much to CMS's dismay. They have been calling me day and night ever since. I actually just spoke with a representative and explained the situation to her. Of course she told me they would never charge someone's card unless they agreed to it. I then became very angry and told her CMS had no right harassing me and she hung up on me.
