Consolidated Media Services ripoff Said I owe $900+ dollars and that they are sending it to the credit bureau They are ripping me off and I am not paying a dime to anyone! Kennesaw Georgia

Months ago, I had cancelled my magazine subscriptions from Consolidated Media Services and told them I did not want anything and that I was simply not interested in the subscription any more. They still kept sending the magazines to me and for the past couple of weeks they have been harassing me and telling them I owe $5.55 a week for the magazines.

Today, October 21, 2003 I received another call and the lady told me that I have been getting billed for the magazines and I told them no I had cancelled the membership a long time agao. She went on to tell me that I owe $49.95 a month and I said no I don't and for them to leave me alone and stop harrasing me.

I hung up she called back and then told me that they are sending what I owe to a credit agency and that I owe over $900, I forget the exact amount. The thing is I was told that the magazines I subscribed to were paid in full at the time. I was never told about a weekly bill of $5.55 or even the monthly bill of $49.95, which doesn't even add up anyway.

They are ripping me off and I am not paying a dime to anyone!
