Consumer Capital Services Scam company! They lied about sending refund, doesn't answer phone. Creightson, New Jersey

On May 21 of 2004 I got a phone call from this company offering a credit card with a guaranteed credit limit for an inital fee of $279,I was also told that if I wanted to cancel I could do so up until 10 days before the 21sth of the following month. I postdated to payments to them in the half amount of $140 each. I called them and after several attempts finally got a response, and I told them I was no longer interested and wanted to cancel. They went ahead and charged me the 1st amount which came out to be $156, which was higher than the agreed amount and they were not supposed to charge me at all.

I called them again and they promised to send a check, well a week went by and no check, I called again and I was told it had already been sent out, well, another week goes by and still no refund. This time I have no sucess contacting them and their phone always goes to voicemail or just hangs up on me. I have on 10 seperate occasions attempted to contact them and I have never once heard back from them.

I went to my bank and they could do nothing to recover the funds but I did stop the 2nd charge from posting to my account. Now after reading the reports on this site I realize that they are just scammers and had no intentions of refunding me. I am ready to take action against them, there are enough of us in this report that we can go after the company and sue their brains out. Class action suit anyone?
