I fell behind on my payments & called to make an arrangement with them after they called me 10 times a day from the 1st day I was late. Made the arrangement for them to take the money from my account which they did not do. They called threatening me when THEY were supposed to debit the money. "They had no record of the arrangement."
After getting that straightened out & paid they tried to charge me over $100 in late fees for their mistake. The next month they added them to my bill. I called to make an arrangement to pay MY payment, not the late fee, & the arrangement was made. I get a call the morning I'm supposed to make my payment & they tell me they will not accept it unless it's $1800.
After I was given any arrangement & agreed to it, they call me that day to tell me they will not accept it.
They call my work number constantly when they have been told not to. Called & asked for HR after I hung up on them for being extremely rude AT WORK.
My balance on the car is more than the car was worth when I purchased it brand new THREE YEARS AGO! They constantly harass me & my family with threats. They spoof their telephone number so you do not realize it is them. I have blocked over 15 phone numbers all for them.
I get a different person each time I call & a different story as well. Any arrangement I make is null & void the next time I call because the person before apparently didn't document it. They are rude, threatening & crooked.

Jim and Robert are nothing short of company trolls who delight in being abusive and "holier thatn thou" in every comment they make!
Years ago I posted how CPS tried to rip me off by adding phantom fees before releasing my title to me and how they didn't show up in court to defend their case and got fined badly plus my attorney fees. At the time I dared these two trolls to reply but guess what, once they saw that I was telling the truth and they didn't have a leg to stand on they cut and ran instead of trying to defend the losing side LOL.
Also if anyone is interested CPS have been severly censured in court for their practices I apologize as I can't remember the exact thread, but they would be in contempt of the ruling if they continue their strong arm tactics, so please do a little research and I'm sure you'll find the ruling and make them pay through the nose like I did after they discovered a fee after i had paid off the loan fully and according to their own defitinition of paid ;)
Jim/Robert if you actually are different people then I'll from now on be trolling you too and posting the truth whenever you decide to be abusive and hateful instead of like most here trying to be helpful and supportive :)

You have passed the Lower Division and moved to the Upper Division class. Where right out of that textbook you have learned that when you don't like something you hear to go after the poster and not the points. This is because of one reason...everything that was said is the truth and you have no "defense".
You also went for "extra credit" by brining in the "Oh you don't know the situation".
So let me help you out a bit more. First this is a PUBLIC site and as such the PUBLIC is going to respond, where this may be a shock but not everyone is going to agree with you. The people that say this company is "sad" are also people who like you are failing to meet their obligation that they agreed to. They then throw a tantrum when the company doesn't "help them out" by letting them basically make up their own terms.
As for not knowing your "situtation". Guess what, I could care less...why? Because there is NOTHING in the LEGAL agreement YOU signed when you got the loan that said your situation has anything to do with when(or if) you would make your payments. So your situation is meaningless....sorry if that is too rough for you but that is just the truth.
You are already with a Sub-Prime lender because you have failed to show you can handle credit, and you are continuing down that same road here.
Oh and contrary to what you want everyone to think, you have read all of my other post.

YOU, your smart comments, & YOUR opinion are irrelevant. You don't know the situation or me. I didn't bother to read past the first few lines of your pointless spew but I can tell you other than this, I will not respond to your idiocy on this or any other website. If this is all you have to do with yourself you need to get a job & a hobby. This site is for people with bad experiences. The fact that you are here to argue with people (all 68 pages of them) about this company is sad & I doubt any of them care. Find your argument elsewhere because you don't know any of these situations.

Straight out of the Deadbeat Textbook. When you have no one but yourself to blame..blame everyone else.
You go though a majority of this "RipOff" saying that they are doing and didn't do, even to the point of calling them Crooked and criminals.
But you seem to forget one little thing. The only reason they are doing this is because YOU and YOU alone failed to make your payment as agreed. That's right, remember that loan agreement you signed? It was a legal agreement where you promised that you would pay them a certain amount, on a certain date, for a certain amount of time. YOU failed to do this so they are just using their legal rights to try and get you to hold up your end of the contract. There is no provision in that agreement that said you only had to pay when you could, or when times weren't tough. No..it said you had to make that payment every time. They are under zero obligation to make any sort of "arrangements" for you.
You don't get to $1800 by being one or two months late. Not knowing your exact payment, you are probably at least 3-6 months late. Where you better consider yourself very lucky, as by this time with just about any lender your car would have been reposessed. Some even do it as soon as not even being a month behind.
Or let me guess, you are actually current on your car payment and the $1800 is only made up of late fees all caused by their one (cough) "mistake". Yea, and I have a bridge for sale in San Francisco..cheap.
You don't stop there though. You hang up on them and are then somehow shocked that they would call your HR department. Well of course because it is obvious you are doing everything in your power to avoid them. Oh and yes, when you go to blocking 15 or 1015 numbers from them YOU are doing everything you can to avoid them. But they are too smart for you and have seen other deadbeats, so they give each employee a different number...no need to spoof anything.
As for your family getting "threats". If those threats are long the lines of they are going to reposess the car, come after you(and who ever else may be on the loan) for the balance. Then they are not threats...those are things they have the legal right to do.
So if you want to really see who the crooked one is on this...just look in the mirror.
Oh just one final thing. Yes your car is worth less than when you got it, because cars loose value. It doesn't matter what loan you get but for a majority of the loan you are going to be upside down. Since you have a Sub-Prime loan with a high interest rate and new cars depreciate quite a bit the first year. You are probably severly upside down, and your payment history is NOT helping you.
