Contact Market Data ripoff they sent the invoice two months late and are trying to charge us late fees for not having paid it on time!!! Champlain New York

Similar case as the other. On the phone you are told you will receive an invoice and information about their service. If you want the service you pay the invoice. If you don't want the service, disregard the invoice. They record only the portion of the call where you agree to recieve the invoice and that you understand the cost, etc. So it sounds like you are ordering it on the tape that they play over and over for you when you complain.

On top of that, they sent the invoice two months late and are trying to charge us late fees for not having paid it on time!!!

I checked the Better Business Bureau and found 50 similar reports filed about this company within the last 3 months (having only started reporting on this company since November). I filed reports with BBB, and FTC and also contacted the Office of the Attorney General for New York.

Can someone tell me if they have any legal right to demand the money? Will I need a lawyer to settle it? Or will they eventually just go away?
