Covenant Transportation atempts to harass drivers out of careers, ripoff Chattanooga Tennessee

I worked for Covenant Transport for three years and left thier employ as a master trainer.

I endured a full log audit for a period of 10 months for log violations that were not mine, appeared mysteriously on my record. During this period all my students were harassed and went through a log audit, because of the Log Dept. Supervisor Jill Collins and Safety Dept Supervisor Michael Smith.

I was threatened to have my employment terminated for log violations that were planted on me. The company refused to even look at the logs in question. I was disciplined above and beyond the copanys written policy. This cost me fianancial hardship and scared my record. After numerous attempts I finally cleared my record.

In response to the complaints about trainers, it is true that sexual harssment does occur on a small percentage of trainers trucks, and some trainers do not belong in the position of trainer. The training program is flawed and satisfies the minimum requirements,the company does cash in on this subsidised program but every training company does.

If at any point you want to hire out for Covenant because you feel that this is a Christian company, you are badly mistaken. The only God they really believe in is on the back of the all mighty dollar. Covenant is not a totally bad company,there are some good people that work there and will try to help out there drivers.

A word of advice,dont get the log or the safety dept. after you because the truth or policy doesnt matter and will be ignored.
