My wife had a payment arrangement with FIA last year who called her in November and told her they are changing the terms of her payment agreement and that she must provide them with $3200 immediately or else they would send her to collections. My wife made her payments faithfully to this company and they had no reason to "change the terms" of the agreement. Nevertheless, the company sent her to Creditors Interchange. "Jess" called her today from 800-545-2705 extension 7805 and told her that she must pay the $3200 immediately or they will garnish her wages, place a lien on our home and damage MY credit as well. I checked the FTC website and these threats are illegal. I'm just beginning my crusade against this company. They threatened the wrong household.

Never deal with scumbags like this besides they cannot touch your wages. Start recording the phone calls if they continue to call and threaten you let your answering machine get the calls if you have 1.
If they have your bank account #s I suggest closing the account and reopen it with new #s folks like this cannot be trusted

Make a deal with a third party debt collector.  These people are scumbags to the nth degree!! File a complaint with the New York Attorney General asap! Here is infor from www.budhibbs.com - visit his website and help get these losers closed down!!!

Creditor's Interchange is located in Buffalo, NY, and they have a large collection operation across the river in Canada where the wages and worker benefits are even smaller.

VERY aggressive debt collectors who lie, threaten and do any illegal act imaginable to separate you from your money. These are nasty, desperate conmen, and should NEVER be trusted. They have posed as bankers, lawyers and other professionals to scare consumers into believing something bad would happen, if monies were not immediately forthcoming.

In reality, these low-lives of the collection industry are nothing but a fraud! Any debt collector from Buffalo, New York is desperate, however Creditors Interchange apparently is hiring the WORST of the WORST! Stay far away -- they are desperate and dangerous.

these ideas may help

this report is a bit old.  I would goto (((ROR REDACTED))) on web.  They are a com.  Secondly tape the conversations of threats.  Once you have proof of wrong then hire a NaCA lawyer or file a complaint with the florida attorney general.  They can not garnish your check without a judgment.
Check with your local courts and see if they served the wrong address etc.  This is a common practice to take your rights away and get a default judgment.

fight back and never ever give information to these clowns.  Fight them.  go to (((ROR REDACTED)))
they are a com.

good luck

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
