Beware of these people. The claim in their marketing " You can now enjoy the 24/7 protection of Total Protect - a comprehensive home warranty that pays for most repairs and replacements of your most critical home systems and appliances. no matter what age, make or model.  If you ask your neighbors how much they spent to replace their furnace or A/C system, you'll hear numbers ranging from $1500 to $6500. It could be the coldest day of the year in your community and your heating system refuses to work.... when a breakdown occurs you can relax because you'll only pay a $60 deductible." 

In reality, they don't tell you that if your furnace fails through its most common failure mode, a heat exchanger rust out, they won't cover it.  They were happy however, to take my premiums month after month. Their marketing information is a complete lie, their entire proposition misleading.  They should not be in business and should be shut down. Another example of how consumer protections have been wiped out in so many areas of our economy. I guess this is why so many companies are incorporated in Delaware, where the laws protect fly-by-night and even reputable firms from their real obligations.  The law favors those that make the rules.....
