After being a member at my gym for over 3 years, they had a personal training company come on sight. The owner interviewed and spoke with several different companies before deciding on Custom Built Personal Training. Wow, did he make a mistake!

I met with a man named Dominic who gave me my initial session before signing up for a year long 2 sessions a week program. I thought Dominic would be my trainer. We sat down for about an hour and figured out the best program that would suit "me" that first day. I went home, got a check and wrote it out for $2400 and brought it to him. I worked out with Dominic for about 5 weeks. In that time I realized what a mistake I had made for signing up.

All of my sessions were cut short. They were all started late or ended early or both because they didn't allow any time in between sessions. I showed up on time for all of my sessions and didn't see any results. While working out with Dominic, he would flirt with other woman on the gym floor, text the girl at the front counter, and made crude comments to me about other woman at the gym, other trainers, and myself. One comment he made irked me and the other people I mentioned it to. He told me he was going to give another trainer a "hand job with his teeth."

After working out with Dominic I had 8 other trainers over the last year. Nothing has changed. All of my sessions are cut short, because they are started late or ended early, and in most cases both. I have seen "managers" "fired" "let go" and quit. There has only been one trainer who has been with them the whole time. I spoke with my newest trainer and told him what a rip off this investment has been.

I'm in my twenties, and I thought personal training was the best way to go to understand certain movements, and functions of weight lifting. Each trainer I have had has had contradicting opinions. For the most part, they have all told me how wrong and horrible the trainer before me had been.

My newest "trainer" Chris called me the day before we were supposed to meet and said to me "I wanted to call to talk to you about tomorrows session" that's how I found out my latest trainer had quit. I met with Chris for our first session, he was running 10 minutes late. His manager Ben said to him "Oh don't worry she doesn't care if you're late" who is he to make that decision? They know how frustrated I am with the company and they know I'm not going to waste another dime on that company. I had my latest session on Monday.

During that session, my "trainer" told me that it was my fault that our session was "cut short" the previous week and tried to tell me that we did certain body parts when we didn't. I told him he was wrong and he got angry with me for setting him straight. I had a training session last night scheduled at 7:00 PM.

At 7:08, I walked out of the gym. I was ready to go, had warmed up and waited outside my trainers office. He came out of his office with his head down and then headed right back in there to work with the client he had in his office.

I have had one quality trainer since I started working out with Custom Built. I was going to resign up to train if they guaranteed he would be my trainer. They said yes, this would happen. I decided the next day that I didn't want to drop anymore money into personal training because of the turn over, the lack of stability, and concern for consumer. He took six weeks off. I knew he wasn't coming back after about three weeks. At this point I'm glad that someone changed my mind.

To anyone thinking about signing up for this company, I strongly suggest doing your research, and saving your money!!
