David Han Scammed our Company out of $660! Anaheim California

David Han ordered two front seats and a center console out of a 2006 Toyota Tundra from us on 6/4/2014.  At the time of sale we agreed to send the pallet to the nearest freight terminal.  This was to save him some money by avoiding a residential delivery fee.  He agreed to pickup the shipment at that terminal.  A few days later he called complaining about the delivery address.  He said "it was too far away and it would take him over an hour to get to the terminal."  Now, I know this is beside the point, but even in Anaheim, I'm sure it wouldn't take over an hour to travel 18 miles.  Anyhow, we agreed to re-consignee the shipment, meaning we would approve the change of delivery address, if he aggreed to pay the $50 re-consignee fee.  He paid the fee and we approved the change of address.  The shipment then went to 9852 Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804.  

The shipment was delivered to the address on Katella Ave on 6/13/14.  On Saturday, 6/14/14, he filed a dispute with PayPal saying that he had not received the shipment.  A few minutes later he escalated the dispute to a claim.  I contacted the shipping company and I was able to get a proof of delivery.  We then contacted PayPal and explained our side of the story and that we had proof of delivery.  They said that based on the information we gave them, we would most likely not be required to issue a refund.  Well as it turns out the Katella Ave address is not the address David Han has listed as his home address on PayPal.  Therefor we did not ship the item to the address listed with PayPal and that is part of the buyer security that they offer.  So PayPal gave a full refund for the seats and console including the shipping cost.  So now we're not only out the seats and console but also the money we spent to ship them to this scammer.  

In conclusion, DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING TO A MAN NAMED DAVID HAN, IT IS A SCAM!!!!

Also, shame on PayPal for not investigating further on this matter.  The first thing they should have done is run his name against known scammers, and secondly, isn't it a little suspicious that he filed a dispute the very ext day after the proof of delivery shows it to be delivered?  Shame on you, PayPal!
