Do Not buy at this dealership.  Repeat DO NOT!! This is the most deceptive dealership I have ever dealt with and will never recommend it to anyone. They have the so call callers and they have the nerve to tell you to ask for them when you get to the dealership knowing all along that they have nothing to do with sales.  Ms Ivey called me and I am sure that is a code name.  Believe all the negative reports about this dealership because it is true...Ms Ivey called and said that I was approved for 100% financing based on your income and all I had to do was bring copy of your pay check stub and a utility bill, but when I got there it was a total different story, lie after lie after lie. They think they can tell you anything and you believe it. There is a reason the BBB rates this dealership a "F", go to the BBB and you will see this and all the complaints filed against this company. But after talking with the "lil" Asian salesman who pretends that he is so new at this job but has a salesman award on his desk for december 2010, I realize that I cant even get mad, because the writing was all over the wall via the internet about this dealership. Whatever they tell you over the phone, do not believe it. Beware of Ivey calling!!

Believe what you want..

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

But you can use your favorite Internet search and search for "BBB Pay for Play" and you will be amazed at some of the reports you read.  As there are other companies that do pay for "accredidation" and have negative reports as well yet they will have a higher rating.  I am not going to say if this company "deserves" the F rating or not, and if you use the other complaints posted against them for your determination then that is your choice.  The point is that you can not just take the BBB as the "Final Word" in a businesses worthyness.

But know that what you described is not un-common among the less reputable dealers, and there are a lot of them.  You didn't give details but your "different story" probably involved them telling you some combination of requiring a co-signer, a huge downpayment, high interest rate, or putting you in a very cheap(bad) car.

Whenever you deal with ANY Car Dealer you must be on the defensive from the time you first talk to them, up until the time you sign the final documents.  If they tell you something don't believe it until they put it in writting.  If they refuse to put it in writing you must figure that it is a LIE and they will not honor what they said.  Yes this would even go for an A+ dealer.

The BBB is a scam.  But this does not detract from your post and quite possibly this dealer deserves a low rating if it were an honest system.

BBB is not a SCAM

Obviously you have some connection to McDavid Dealerships...First these are not alleged reports, they are true.  This company is very deceptive in which I among other customers have experience.  The BBB in no way try to represent themselves as a government agency.  And the you tube you are referring to, and I am sure the reporter and the so called BBB employee are all part of the McDavid scam. David McDavid Nissan deserves the "F" rating. Don't know about the other dealerships that part of this group, but the NISSAN dealership is very deceptive and there is nothing "alleged" about that.

The Reason For The "F" Rating!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 06, 2011

Without regard to their alleged deceptive business practices, there's a much more compelling reason why they have an "F" rating with the BBB.

First, the plain truth about the BBB is the BBB is a SCAM.  The BBB wants you to think they are a government agency . The TRUTH is they are not.  Anyone can join the BBB...and I do mean ANYONE!  The so-called "BBB Acreditation" is nothing more than a part of the SCAM.  Anyone can BUY any "accreditation they want.  The ratings ARE FOR SALE just like a phoney college diploma is often sold on the internet.  So then, the reason this place has an "F" 'rating' is ONLY because they haven't purchased an "A" rating.  Go to YouTube and search "BBB Scam".  You will see an ABC reporter attempting to interview a BBB slimeball.  The BBB slimeball abruptly ends the interview because the reporter is drilling down deep into the BBB SCAM and the BBB phoney accreditations.
