I was also scammed by Davison Inventegration. I submitted an idea and was quickly followed up with by their Director Of New Products (apparently that is many people) who was very quick to discourage me from going to other companies. He was slick sounding and full of promises I would later find to be false. Unfortunately after I had already given them money!

My story sounds just like the rest on this site. I paid the $685 for the "research" which I was told to be the product of 13 hours worth or work. What a load of BS! It was basically printed out internet pages that I could have done in a half hour. Before I agreed to the research fee, I was told this was the only cost I was to incure and all other fees would be absorbed by Davison. The only way they would ask for more money was if they found a target corporation that required a prototype and I could make the prototype myself if I didn't like their costs. Again BS!

After a few months, Davison had a prospective target corporation, but they required, you guessed it, a fully functional prototype with software and full development that Davison would do for me for $14,000.00!!!!! And when asked to find a target corporation that didn't require a fully functional product, which I find out later, that the company they spoke of doesn't, he said it doesn't work that way.

So I found this website too late. I was suckered for the $685 with promises of licensing with no other obligation. When the fact is, without thousands of more dollars, they won't even try. It sounds like Davison makes this promise over and over and suckers people for the same $685 and they continue to get away with it. DON'T LET THEM!!

Hopes and Dreams

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 24, 2006

I have paid $685.00 for my professional research report, and am still waiting on it. Currently the invention that I have submitted is already patent pending. I was told that I needed a up-dated patent search. I have tried for several weeks to get a response from this company, but have been unsuccessful. It appears that the representative that handled my case is no longer employed by this company.

I pride myself in not being a sucker, and to date I have no conclusive evidence that this is the case. I do realize that it is difficult to get a new product off the ground, and that a inventor can log in to the patent office and conduct a patent search. The reason that I agreed to using the services of this company, was to hopefully attract licensing agreements. If the claims that have been made in regards to licensing agreements are false then I am a sucker, but at this time I have no conclusive evidence.

I can tell you that I have hoped and dreamed for years that I would some day have a successful invention. However I know that there is not a pot of gold just waiting for me. I have spent thousands of hours researching, and have found that there are ways to save money, but (not hiring a patent attorney) is not one of them. There are ways to safeguard your concept without spending a lot of money.

There is not a lot that one can say when you feel as if you have burned. Myself I choose to take take the leasons learned and apply them to future efforts.

When I have concluded my business with this company. If I am certain that I have been ripped, I will update this rebuttal.

Hard to Believe

AUTHOR: Sherry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 24, 2006

I am not associated with Davison, but was researching them as I planned to respond to an employment opportunity advertised in a local paper. I have found information both positive and negative on the internet, but these posts stand out.

I find it extremely hard to believe that there are so many intelligent, hardworking people out there who believe that they can get rich with an investment of $685. If you are intelligent enough to invent a breakthrough product, then surely you don't believe that it can be patented, produced and marketed for $685. Consider the alternative to using one of these companies. Research the patent, either on your own or with the assistance of an attorney, apply for the patent, produce a prototype, pound the pavement yourself looking for an investor or a taker, and then get them to produce, market and distribute your product and pay you millions. And do it all for $685. It just doesn't work that way. You have the option of manufacturing, marketing and distributing the product yourself, which, ladies and gentleman, would cost you a heck of a lot more than what you are claiming these people "stole" from you. How on earth would they still be in business if they provide no service? It is all just a little hard to believe!
