I just spent 45 minutes of my "family time"  on the phone cancelling charges for products that I didn't even order.

I signed up for what I thought was a free teeth whitening product with the stipulation that I would pay the shipping charges only and only get charged if I decided to order the product.

I was contacted by a woman only 2 days after signing up for this Dazzle White and I asked her if I would be charged for any membership.  She told me "no" on the phone.  Very deceptive.  Apparently when you sign up for the trial you sign up for every magazine, weight loss, and dog and pony show out there.  

I received a package in the mail the other day with all kinds of whitening products.  Apparently the fine print says that by getting the trial product you are automatically signing up for a membership and charge $79.28 every month.

This is deceptive.  They draw you in by charging only shipping and turn around and charge you for every kit, magazine and product they offer.

I called every number listed on my credit card statement.  They all said, disconnected and out of service.  What does that tell you?

When I did finally reach a good number, I waited on the phone line for several minutes.  I did fianlly speak to relatively friendly representatives who told me that they could not credit back the charges. 

I told them that "they will" credit back the charges.  I told them that a friend of mine who is a local District Attorney was going to contact the NYS Attorney General's office.  I was told by all 4 represenatives that my card would be credited back in 10 business days. 

I can't believe the many reports about this company.  Is anyone doing anything about it?
